I love people and deep chats
What does it actually mean though? A ‘photographer like a friend’? For me, it means getting through the formal shots as quickly as possible so you can chat to your guests. It means keeping an eye on the time for you in the morning so you don’t have to. It means doing up the buttons on your dress (because those buggers are hard work and practice really does make perfect). It means chatting to your partner whilst they wait for you down the aisle, so they’re as chill as can be. It means actually dancing when the dance floor comes around so no one minds that massive camera. It means cracking a load of jokes during the confetti line up to break the ice with your guests. It means being the loud people wrangler so your bridesmaids don’t have to be.
Massive Extrovert
I’m a Hampshire based gal who spends lots of time between Cornwall and London chilling by the sea and watching West End shows. I’ve worked in some of the coolest theatre’s in the world - my first theatre job was ushering at the Royal Albert Hall. I literally got paid to watch shows!!
But now, I have the best job. I get to meet amazing people and document the best day of their lives. My super power is helping even the most camera shy have fun taking awesome photos - and none of it is staged. No posing, just barrels of fun.
